Role Overview
We are seeking a tech-savvy Finance Manager to run day-to-day operations under the CFO, owning banking, cash flow, vendors, payouts, and collections with a clear vision to completely automate the financial ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Cash Flow & Process Automation
- Process Automation: Execute the CFO’s vision to transition manual finance workflows into fully automated operations.
- Treasury Management: Maintain tight daily oversight over bank balances and fund allocations to support runway goals.
- Banking Infrastructure: Manage daily banking relationships and streamline operational trade finance activities.
- Liquidity Tracking: Use modern tools to prepare daily cash position reports and liquidity forecasts for the CFO.
- Vendor Management & Payments
- Payable Lifecycle: Own the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring precise automated invoice tracking.
- Payout Controls:
Enforce strict compliance with corporate approval matrices before executing any vendor payments.
- Terms Negotiation: Coordinate with business teams to evaluate vendor contracts and optimize payment cycles.
- Collections & Revenue Recovery
- Receivables Control: Lead accounts receivable functions aggressively to minimize outstandings and slash DSO.
- Business Coordination: Partner with business heads to resolve payment disputes and enforce strict collection timelines.
- Recovery Escalations: Take proactive ownership of delayed aging accounts to recover dues and eliminate bad debts.
- Core Accounting Support & Reporting
- Ledger Integrity: Ensure accurate maintenance of general ledgers and operational transaction records under CFO guidelines.
- Tax & Compliance: Handle monthly tax computations, routine GST/TDS filings, and support statutory audit preparations.
