Role & responsibilities
- Operate grinding machines and hand grinders for metal work.
- Perform grinding, cutting, polishing, and deburring of metal components.
- Ensure proper surface finishing as per specifications.
- Inspect finished components for quality and accuracy.
- Replace grinding wheels/discs when required.
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Maintain and clean machines, tools, and work area.
- Handle materials safely during grinding and finishing operations.
Preferred Candidate
- ITI or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- 13 years of experience as a Grinder Worker/Grinding Machine Operator.
- Hands-on experience with grinding, cutting, polishing, and deburring.
- Basic knowledge of grinding machines, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read basic work instructions/drawings.
- Good understanding of workplace safety and PPE.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop/industrial setting.
- Candidates with fabrication or welding experience will be preferred.
