Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer (0 to 1 year) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing concepts and be eager to learn and ensure the quality of web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

∙Understand project requirements and functional specifications.

∙Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios.

∙Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.

∙Identify, report, and track software defects.

∙Verify bug fixes and perform retesting.

∙Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.

∙Validate API request/response, status codes, headers, authentication, and JSON payloads.

∙Assist in developing and maintaining automation test scripts using Playwright

∙Work closely with developers and QA engineers.

∙Maintain test documentation and testing reports.

∙Ensure applications meet quality standards before release.

Required Skills

∙Basic knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).





∙Understanding of different testing types (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, UAT).

∙Basic knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

∙Familiarity with web and mobile application testing.

∙Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), status codes, headers, authentication, and JSON.

∙Basic understanding of Automation Testing concepts.

∙Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.

∙Strong communication and teamwork skills.

∙Eagerness to learn new technologies and testing tools.

Nice to Have

∙Understanding of REST APIs and tools like Postman.

∙Basic knowledge of Git.

∙Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.

Experience
