Roles & Responsibilities Gas Cutter
- Operate gas cutting torches to cut metal plates, sheets, pipes, and other components.
- Perform oxy-fuel/gas cutting as per required dimensions and specifications.
- Set and adjust gas pressure, flame, and cutting equipment properly.
- Mark and measure materials before cutting.
- Ensure accurate and clean cutting with minimum material wastage.
- Remove slag and perform basic grinding/deburring after cutting.
- Inspect cut pieces for quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain and clean gas cutting equipment and work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Handle gas cylinders, hoses, regulators, and cutting equipment safely.

Preferred Candidate




- ITI/technical qualification in Fitter, Welder, or relevant trade preferred.
- 13 years of experience as a Gas Cutter/Oxy-Fuel Cutter.
- Hands-on experience with gas/oxy-fuel cutting equipment.
- Good knowledge of flame adjustment, gas pressure, and cutting techniques.
- Ability to read basic measurements and work instructions.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and PPE.
- Experience in fabrication/metal workshop will be preferred.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial setting.
