Job Title: Autocad Bridge Design ROB/RUB Engineer Railway Projects

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bridge Design Engineer with solid expertise in railway bridge design and AutoCAD. The role involves leading bridge design and drafting activities, reviewing structural drawings, coordinating with design teams, and ensuring submission-ready drawings comply with Indian Railways, RDSO, IRS, and IRC standards.

The position is primarily focused on design, technical review, team coordination, and drawing approvals, with no responsibility for site execution or construction supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Bridge Design & Drafting
- Lead the preparation of GADs, structural drawings, and reinforcement detailing for railway bridges.
- Review and develop drawings for PSC girders, composite bridges, ROBs, RUBs, piers, abutments, foundations, and other bridge structures.
- Ensure accurate preparation of plans, elevations, cross-sections, and detailed drawings.

2. Railway Standards & Compliance




- Ensure designs and drawings comply with Indian Railways standards, RDSO guidelines, IRS codes, IRC specifications, and Schedule of Dimensions (SOD).
- Review loading requirements, clearances, structural safety, and other applicable railway requirements.

3. Design Coordination
- Coordinate with structural, track, alignment, hydraulics, and other technical teams.
- Review structural analysis outputs and ensure the results are correctly incorporated into drawings.
- Resolve technical issues and provide design inputs to the team.

4. Team Leadership & Technical Review
- Guide and supervise junior bridge engineers and draftsmen.
- Review drawings prepared by the design team for technical accuracy and compliance.
- Identify errors and ensure corrections are completed before submission.
- Maintain drawing quality, standards, and version control.

5. Client & Railway Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, Railway authorities, DFCCIL
