Job Title: Head – Dyeing Production

1. Job Purpose

Lead and manage the Dyeing Production function to achieve production targets, ensure consistent shade quality, improve productivity, optimize resources, and maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards.

3. Broad Role & Responsibility
- Lead the dyeing laboratory for shade development, color matching, and recipe formulation.
- Ensure accurate lab-to-bulk shade reproducibility.
- Approve dye recipes and maintain standard operating procedures for lab trials.
- Manage testing of dyes, chemicals, and auxiliaries before bulk production.
- Maintain records of shade approvals, lab dips, and customer requirements.




- Oversee daily dyeing production planning in coordination with production and planning teams.
- Ensure timely execution of dyeing processes while meeting quality standards.
- Monitor machine utilization, production output, and process efficiency.
- Implement improvements to reduce re-dyeing, shade variation, and wastage.
- Ensure smooth transition from lab sample to bulk production.
- Ensure consistency of shade, fastness properties, and product quality.
- Investigate and resolve dyeing defects such as shade variation, patchiness, staining, and uneven dyeing.
- Work closely with the quality team for final product approvals.
- Maintain compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Optimize dyeing processes for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and chemical efficiency.
- Introduce current dyes, chemicals, and technologies to improve results.
