Position Overview

The
DGM/GM - Store Design
role exists to lead the design development and execution for current stores, remodels, relocations, and special projects across multiple regions. This position drives design strategy, ensures compliance with global brand standards, and manages cross-functional teams and external vendors. The role reports directly to the
Group Chief Asset Procurement Officer
.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead design development for new stores, remodels, relocations, and special projects across multiple regions.
- Manage end-to-end design deliverables from concept through Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, ensuring timely delivery aligned with project rollout timelines.




- Prioritize and allocate work across the design team to meet business requirements and project schedules.
- Ensure all store designs comply with global design standards while adapting to local operational and site requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in store layouts, customer flow, kitchen efficiency, and space optimization.
- Standardize design practices, templates, and documentation across projects to maintain brand excellence.
- Review and approve layouts, GFC drawings, joinery details, material specifications, BOQs, and vendor shop drawings to ensure technical accuracy and constructability.
- Manage relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, and design vendors, reviewing deliverables for quality and compliance.
- Conduct periodic site visits to ensure adherence to approved drawings, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
