Job Purpose
You will be part of the Data Operations team at IDFC First Bank. The individual will manage Data Quality Issue Management lifecycle through various stages until closure. This requires positive understanding of Indian Banking industry, data sources, Regulatory Reporting and Compliance along with best practices of data definitions, mapping, process documentation, business requirement documentation.

The person will coordinate, facilitate meetings, discussion for root cause analysis of issues, and role assignment to resolution and ensure tracking of SLA/TAT for timely closure of Data Quality Issues. Metrics reporting of issue progress and other critical data quality reporting to support Data Operations function. The role expects end to end ownership of all Data Operations related quality issues across banking source systems as well as downstream reporting applications.

Job Responsibilities:




- Participate in the definition of functional requirements for the Data Quality Rules and draft the reporting process documents as well as data mapping of Reporting Data Elements (RDEs).
- Handle all Data Quality Business Rules, default profiling and identify exception reporting using tools like SAS Data Flux/Enterprise Guide.
- Develop documentation to support the effective on-boarding and SME/Business knowledge transfer to Data Operations team members.
- Liaison with Tech to ensure remediation of data cleansing at source as well as for flow data.
- Connect business users with data owners to ensure data structures, definitions and uses are comprehensively understood.
- Document processes and procedures for resolution, develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
- Lead upfront analysis of Data Quality Issue management and various metrics reporting.
- End to end understanding of banking data life cycle in Indian banking scenario is a plus.
