Job Description
As a Member of Technical Staff, you will be responsible for helping build, test, deploy and operate highly scalable services for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s Operator Access division (OCI Bastions). You should be a rock-solid coder who can dive deep into any part of the stack and low-level systems. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative and agile environment. Responsibilities
- As a member of the software engineering division,
you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
- Develop and operate highly available and scalable services.
- Implement new features according to the specifications.
- Debug, root cause and fix issues
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year in a software-engineering related position.
- Strong programming skills in Java or similar OO languages.
- Strong knowledge of microservices, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence.
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
- Solid knowledge of Linu
