We are seeking a high-ownership Finance control officer with a growth mindset to lead our finance function. As an early-member of a Bangalore-based aerospace startup, you will be responsible for building the company’s books from the ground up and ensuring world-class financial hygiene. You will navigate complex defense regulations, manage high-value inventory, and maintain pinpoint accuracy in cash flow management to support our scale. Key Responsibilities
Financial Architecture: Design and build the company’s books of accounts to be "audit-ready" at all times. Establish robust internal controls and financial processes. Precision Cash Flow Management: Maintain real-time visibility on liquidity. Manage burn rates, optimize working capital, and provide accurate cash flow forecasting to support long-cycle manufacturing, budgeting and variance, capex and opex views. Manufacturing & Costing: Implement rigorous project-based costing for aerospace components.
Oversee WIP (Work-in-Progress) valuation and inventory controls crucial for Defence and aerospace Compliance: End-to-end management of GST (including refunds for inverted duty structures), TDS, and annual statutory audits,filings,etc. Global & Defense Incentives: Manage compliance for i DEX grants, Starup India perks, and export/import documentation with an eye on international trade compliance. Fundraising Support: Act as the primary point of contact for financial due diligence during Series funding rounds, inward of grants, strategic partnerships etc, presenting books that meet international standards. Financial Strategy: Work closely with the CEO and founding team to align company’s strategic goals , market conditions and look at growth strategy Processes and systems: Setup best practices in industry to optimise Turnaround Times for all departments across the company Requirements Qualification: Qualified CFA/Cha
