Job Description





Manages the development of functional specifications for project assignments and may help develop requirements for larger, more complex development efforts.
Oversees/guides the development of software architectures for complex applications.
Ensures development documentation for applications is performed and complete.
Ensures and oversees the development of moderately and highly complex application code that meets defined requirements.
Manages the day-to-day activity of staff.
Provides feedback on performance appraisals.
Manages the development and training of the staff.
Approves paid time off requests (PTO) and ensures human resources policies are followed.
Directs the work of more junior staff.
Contributes monthly to resource capacity planning.
Oversees the building of deployment packages, deployment of software packages, manages use of issue tracking software, source code control, and other supporting activities related to application development projects.
