Job Summary

Oversee all aspects of the production process, including assembly, fabrication, welding, and EOL testing.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while maintaining effective use of resources
Monitor production processes and adjust production schedules as needed to maintain quality standards and meet customer requirements
Manage and train production staff, ensuring that all staff members are trained to perform their duties efficiently and safely
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that materials and supplies are available when needed
Develop and implement safety procedures and guidelines to ensure that all production processes are performed safely
Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and logistics, to improve production processes and meet customer requirements
Ensure that all production processes comply with industry standards and regulations
Understanding of product design and development processes, including design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)
Familiarity with automation and robotics in manufacturing settings




Provide regular reports to senior management on production progress, efficiency, and any issues that arise
Experience with quality control systems and methodologies
Understanding of statistical process control and other quality monitoring tools
Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
Knowledge of ISO, TS, or other quality management system standards
Ability to develop and implement quality control processes and procedures
Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining quality standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Sound knowledge of SAP
Robust knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and reliability
