Job Overview
Asthra Projects is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PCB soldering, electronic component assembly, and rework activities. The candidate must be able to maintain high-quality workmanship while meeting production targets.
Key Responsibilities
Perform manual soldering of electronic components on PCBs (SMT and Through-Hole).
Assemble electronic boards, wiring harnesses, connectors, and related assemblies.
Read and understand circuit diagrams, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
Inspect solder joints and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Identify and rectify soldering defects through rework and repairs.
Handle electronic components using ESD-secure practices.
Operate soldering stations, desoldering tools, and other assembly equipment.
Conduct basic testing and continuity checks using measuring instruments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Follow company quality, safety, and production procedures.
Required Skills
Strong manual soldering skills.
Knowledge of SMT and Through-Hole soldering techniques.
Ability to identify electronic components.
Experience in PCB assembly and repair.
Basic knowledge of electronic testing using multimeters.
Valuable hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eligibility
ITI (Electronics/Electrical) or Diploma in ECE.
2–3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, or soldering operations.
Candidates with experience in electronics production or assembly lines will be preferred.
