Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Operations & Allotment
Manage allocation of company vehicles across all branches.
Optimize vehicle usage to reduce idle time and maximize efficiency.
Return Load Management
Coordinate return loads for vehicles at odd locations.
Liaise with brokers and branch managers to ensure vehicles are utilized effectively on return trips.
Driver Coordination
Assign drivers to vehicles and ensure timely arrival at loading points.
Maintain transparent communication channels with drivers for operational updates.
Transit Operations & Tracking
Monitor vehicle movement during transit using GPS and tracking systems.
Handle en-route issues, breakdowns, or delays to minimize disruptions.
On-Time Delivery
Ensure vehicles reach destinations within scheduled timelines.
Track performance metrics for delivery punctuality and operational efficiency.
Skills & Competencies
Robust organizational and coordination skills
Knowledge of fleet management systems and GPS tracking tools
Ability to manage multiple branches and remote operations
