Role & responsibilities
Lead and manage the Design team.
Design and develop Current Products, Including components, assemblies, enclosures, cabinets, and fabrication structures using SolidWorks.
Review and approve Machining Part Drawings , flat patterns, and BOMs.
Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, and project teams for smooth execution.
Ensure manufacturability of designs considering laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, and assembly processes.
Monitor design schedules and ensure timely project completion.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and draftsmen.
Handle engineering changes, design improvements, and cost reduction activities.
Participate in customer discussions and technical reviews when required.
Maintain engineering standards, documentation,



and revision control.
Support current product development and prototype activities.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.

Required Skills:
Strong expertise in SolidWorks (Sheet Metal & Assembly Modules).
Excellent knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes:
Robust understanding of GD&T;, tolerances, and manufacturing standards.
Leadership and team management capability.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
