Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Civil

Job Location: BTM 2nd Stage, Bangalore & Thondebhavi, Doddaballapura

Roles & Responsibilities
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in cost control, BOQ preparation, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting.
Manage project budgets, costs, and delivery targets effectively.
Prepare, estimate, and verify quantities as per drawings and project requirements.
Prepare and verify contractor and subcontractor bills.
Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements for RCC and structural works.
Robust knowledge of Advanced Excel and AutoCAD.
Handle procurement and contract management, including verification of quantities, rates, and bills.
Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimisation.
Support risk management and identify potential cost overruns.
Positive knowledge of Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) preparation and calculations.
Carry out material reconciliation and monitor material consumption against project requirements.
Review and understand tenders, BOQs, working drawings,



specifications, and construction documents.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and procurement teams for cost and quantity-related matters.
Monitor project expenditure and ensure costs remain within the approved budget.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Billing, or related roles.
Experience in a construction company or civil consulting organisation is preferred.
Residential project experience will be an added advantage.
Excellent skills in BBS calculation, quantity estimation, billing, and cost management.
Robust practical knowledge of construction activities, measurements, and project cost control.
Proficiency in Advanced Excel and AutoCAD.
