Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accountant for a

3-month temporary assignment

to focus on

account reconciliation, clearing opening balances, and resolving outstanding accounting issues .

Key Responsibilities
Reconcile

opening balances, customer, vendor, intercompany, and General Ledger accounts .
Investigate and clear

old, outstanding, duplicate, or unexplained balances .
Review balance sheet accounts including

advances, deposits, prepayments, and accruals .
Identify discrepancies and pass

approved adjustment/rectification entries .
Prepare reconciliation statements and maintain proper supporting documentation.
Report

unreconciled items and issues requiring management action .




Complete all assigned reconciliation and cleanup work within the 3-month period.
Prepare a final handover/status report.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in

accounting, Finance, or Commerce .
3–5 years of accounting experience , preferably in reconciliation/accounts cleanup.
Solid knowledge of

account reconciliations and double-entry accounting .
Good

Excel skills .
Tally ERP experience preferred .
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and handle large volumes of accounting data.

Preferred
Immediate availability

and previous experience in

accounts cleanup/reconciliation projects

will be an advantage.
