Role: Mechanical Technician

Experience: 3-5 Years

Location: Chandpura, Tohana, Fatehabad District, Haryana

Reports To: First Principles Engineer

About Role:

The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and fabrication tasks required for

the development of mechanical systems. This role will involve spending a significant amount of time at

the test site, as well as a hands-on approach to operating and maintaining mechanical machines. The

position will involve a mix of machine operation, outdoor hardware testing, field travel, machine

assembly, and mechanical maintenance or fitting tasks. Prior experience in similar roles is highly

desirable.

Responsibilities:

- Performing basic mechanical maintenance and testing of mechanical components
- Operating the Takachar R&D; machine (comprehensive advanced training will be provided)
- Being comfortable with basic metal fabrication tools and procuring standard parts
- Demonstrating robust communication skills by effectively raising issues to higher authorities and

showing a problem-solving mindset at the quickest and safest manner

Desirable skills and experience:

- Relevant experience of approximately 3-5 years
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical
- Willingness and prior experience of being hands-on in product development. This position will be a

blend of machine operation,



outdoors testing of hardware and field travel, machine assembly,

mainly mechanical jobs

- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with various fabrication processes: welding (all types),

cutting, grinding, and finishing (while expertise in all is not required, prior experience is preferred)

- Mechanical fitting and assembly/sub-assembly skills
