Qualifications:
1. Education:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional Android development experience.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining complex, high-performance Android applications.
3. Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
- Experience with Android Studio and the Android SDK.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitLab).
4. Architecture and Design Patterns:
- Understanding of software architecture and design patterns (MVP, MVVM, etc.).
- Experience with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger).
5. Testing:
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Espresso).
- Understanding of continuous integration and deployment processes.
6. Communication and Teamwork:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
7. Problem Solving:
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
8. Leadership:
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to take ownership of projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Android App Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
2. Code Review and Mentorship:
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing setting.
3. Architecture and Design:
- Work closely with the design and product teams to implement elegant and intuitive user interfaces.
- Contribute to the architectural design and decision-making process for the Android platform.
4. Bug Fixing and Optimization:
- Identify and fix bugs, bottlenecks, and performance issues.
- Continuously optimize the application for better performance and user experience.
5. Testing and Deployment:
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure the robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability of the application.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the quality of the deliverables.
- Participate in the deployment process and support production issues as needed.
6. Stay Updated:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in Android development.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies when appropriate.
