Position: Modem BSP Engineer
Experience: 3 to 7 Years

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Modem BSP Engineer to develop, integrate, debug, validate, and maintain BSP software for Qualcomm-based telematics platforms. The role involves Linux kernel development, device driver customization, modem integration, hardware bring-up, power management, and system-level debugging for automotive connectivity solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain BSP components on Qualcomm platforms.
- Analyze and resolve kernel, device driver, bootloader, and modem-related issues.
- Perform Linux kernel bring-up, customization, and chipset migration activities.
- Support new hardware board bring-up, integration, and validation.
- Debug and optimize boot time, power consumption, thermal performance, and system stability.
- Integrate modem and telematics features into NAD and TCU platforms.
- Perform log analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
- Support customer escalations and field issue investigations.
- Collaborate with Qualcomm, OEM customers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Develop automation scripts for testing, validation, and log analysis.
- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical capability development.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive projects with OEMs such as Honda, BMW, GM, Toyota, etc.
- Good understanding of NAD and TCU architecture.
- Knowledge of GNSS, eSIM, and Cellular Technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G).
- Familiarity with Qualcomm modem debugging and telematics solutions.
- Understanding of ASPICE and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Solid communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and OEM customers.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Embedded Systems , or a related field.
