Job Summary The primary function of the Accounting Advisory Associate is to support the performance of accounting advisory consulting engagements, resolving issues related to events and transactions, accounting policies and procedures, and producing key performance indicators.
The role involves developing productive working relationships with client personnel to accomplish engagement objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support the performance of accounting advisory consulting engagements.
• Resolve issues related to events & transactions, accounting policies & procedures, or producing key performance indicators.
• Maintain a strong client focus by understanding the client’s business needs.
• Develop productive working relationships with client personnel.
• Provide recommendations regarding clients’ accounting processes, procedures, and key performance indicators.
• Support project quality control and client engagements from start to finish, including adequate planning, fieldwork, and deliverable composition.
What you bring to the role:
• Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, CIS or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in related field
• Developing a solid understanding of accounting standards (US GAAP).
• Interest in technical accounting, accounting processes, procedures, and business intelligence.
• Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a focus on details and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments successfully.
• Willing to pursue relevant qualified designations (e.g., CPA, CIA).
