Reporting To: Design Team Lead

ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a Menswear Denim Designer with 3–4 years of relevant experience who can support the complete design and development process from seasonal research through sampling and final execution.

The role requires robust design sensibility, product understanding, attention to detail and effective cross functional coordination.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct seasonal trend research and create trend presentations, mood boards, colour stories and design directions.

Translate seasonal concepts and trends into commercially relevant product designs.

Create design sketches, CADs and product presentations for range development.

Prepare detailed sample dockets and tech packs with required design, construction, trim, artwork and wash information.

Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, product development, technical teams and vendors for design execution.

Follow up on samples and ensure developments are completed as per seasonal timelines.

Review samples, provide design comments and participate in fit/sample review sessions.

Maintain updated design files, sample records, approvals and development comments.

Support seasonal range reviews, presentations and final range handovers.

KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS




3–4 years of experience in Menswear Denim / Apparel Design.

Strong understanding of apparel design and product development.

Good knowledge of denim fabrics, washes, finishing techniques and garment construction.

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Experience in creating CADs, sample dockets and tech packs.

Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills.

Good time management and attention to detail.

Commercially relevant design approach with a strong understanding of menswear trends.

EDUCATION Degree in Fashion Design / Apparel Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)
