Role Summary:

The Data Analyst Operations will support the Strategy & Analytics function by transforming operational data into actionable insights. The role focuses on improving decision-making, optimising processes, and driving efficiency across business operations through data analysis, reporting, and visualisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Insights

- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and operational inefficiencies

- Support root cause analysis for performance gaps across operations

- Deliver actionable insights to improve turnaround time (TAT), cost efficiency, and service quality

2. Reporting & Dashboards

- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and MIS reports for operational KPIs

- Automate recurring reports using SQL, Excel, or BI tools

- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting

3. Business Support

- Partner with operations, supply chain, and business teams to understand data needs





- Translate business problems into analytical frameworks

- Provide data-backed recommendations to support strategic initiatives

4. Data Management

- Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (CRM, LIMS, ERP, etc.)

- Maintain data integrity and standardization across datasets

- Support data governance and documentation practices

5. Process Optimisation

- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements

- Support implementation of analytics-driven operational strategies

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

- Strong proficiency in SQL

- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Power Query)

- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

- Basic knowledge of Python/R (preferred but not mandatory)

Core Competencies

- Analytical thinking and problem-solving

- Robust attention to detail

- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders

- Business acumen with understanding of operational workflows

Preferred Profile

- Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, logistics, or operations-heavy industries

- Exposure to TAT analysis, demand forecasting, or process optimisation
