Job Description: A Manager Liaison for Iron Ore Mines acts as the crucial link between mining operations, government bodies, and communities, focusing on securing approvals (forest, environmental, land), ensuring statutory compliance, managing land acquisition, building stakeholder relationships (Gram Sabhas, landowners, agencies), and resolving conflicts to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to mining laws. Key duties involve documentation, representing the company in forums, coordinating internal teams (legal, survey), risk mitigation, and maintaining detailed records for land banks, requiring strong negotiation, communication, and regulatory knowledge. Key Responsibilities

- Government & Regulatory Liaison: Primary contact for authorities (Forest Dept, Pollution Control Board, Revenue Dept), securing Environmental Clearances (EC), Forest Clearances (FC), Mining Leases (ML), Consent to Establish/Operate (CTE/CTO).
- Land Acquisition & Management: Oversee land acquisition processes, title verification, due diligence, mutation, compensation, and manage the land bank.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company in public hearings, Gram Sabhas,



and community meetings; build relationships with local leaders and landowners.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all statutory compliances are met; maintain accurate MIS, records, and handle technical/official correspondence.
- Coordination & Conflict Resolution: Bridge communication gaps between internal teams (Operations, Legal, Commercial) and external agencies; resolve land disputes and project-related issues.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or LLB preferred.
- Experience: 5-15 years in land acquisition, liaisoning, regulatory compliance, preferably in mining or large industrial projects.
- Skills: Solid negotiation, relationship building, communication (verbal & written), conflict resolution, project management, and public speaking.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of mining laws, local regulations, land laws, and environmental clearance processes.
