Summary:
We are seeking a skilled QAD MFG/Pro Technical Consultant with 7-12 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in QAD MFG/Pro modules, including Manufacturing, Distribution, and Finance, along with strong proficiency in Progress(4GL), database development, and system integration. You will play a key role in solution design, configuration, application management, and production support, ensuring seamless system performance. This role demands hands-on experience in developing CIM interfaces, performing integrated testing, and preparing functional design documents. A foundational understanding of UNIX, FTP, and cron jobs is essential. The position also requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver technical consulting and support for QAD MFG/Pro modules, including Manufacturing, Distribution, and Finance.

- Lead solution design, configuration, and implementation of inbound and outbound processes.

- Develop and maintain functional design documents and technical specifications for system enhancements.

- Perform end-to-end development and support activities, including integration testing and production support.





- Design and implement CIM interfaces to ensure smooth data exchange between systems.

- Utilize Progress(4GL) for application development and database management.

- Apply basic UNIX knowledge for system operations, including file transfers via FTP and scheduling tasks using cron.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

Requirements

- 7-12 years of proven experience in QAD MFG/Pro, with hands-on work in Distribution, Manufacturing, and Finance modules.

- Expertise in Progress(4GL) language and database development.

- Demonstrated experience in developing CIM interfaces and managing system integrations.

- Strong background in application enhancement, configuration, and production support.

- Proficient in preparing functional design documents and managing integrated testing.

- Foundational knowledge of UNIX, including FTP and cron job management.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
