Description
As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the bank's GTS Trade operations in a specific geographic area. Your primary goal is to enhance the bank's market position, increase revenue, and deliver exceptional client experiences. You will lead a team of professionals, providing strategic direction and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of trade finance solutions to clients.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of trade finance professionals, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the bank's market share and client base.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in trade finance operations.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, identifying opportunities for business growth.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee the end-to-end trade finance process, including documentation, compliance, and settlement.
- Resolve complex client queries and issues, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless cross-functional operations.

Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in trade finance, with a proven track record in a managerial role.

- Excellent knowledge of trade finance products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
