Role Purpose:

Senior Engineering Manager/Associate Director – Data Platform & Data Services will own the enterprise data foundation, data services, and AI-first analytics ecosystem. This role is responsible for building a trusted, compliant, and scalable data platform that powers business insights, AI use cases, regulatory reporting, and customer commitments.

The responsibilities we entrust you

Key Responsibilities – Data Platform Ownership & Strategy

• Own end-to-end data platform strategy across ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and access.

• Define architecture for batch, streaming, and near-real-time data.

• Ensure cloud-native, resilient, and AI-ready platforms.

AI-First Data Services & Analytics

• Enable AI-first data services including curated datasets, metrics layers, and data APIs.

• Support AI/ML and GenAI use cases with high-quality governed data.

• Drive self-serve analytics and NLP-based data exploration.

Data Governance, Privacy & Regulatory Compliance

• Own data governance frameworks including lineage, quality, and access controls.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy, regulatory, and audit requirements.

• Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Security teams.

Platform Reliability & Operational Excellence

• Ensure high availability and SLA compliance.

• Establish observability, monitoring, and incident response.





• Optimize platform cost and performance.

Leadership & Talent Development

• Build and lead data engineering and platform teams.

• Establish standards, reviews, and career paths.

• Foster AI-first culture.

Senior Stakeholder Partnership

• Partner with CXOs and senior business leaders.

• Translate regulatory and business needs into sca

Whar matters in this role:

Experience & Portfolio:

• 12-15 years experience in data platforms or data engineering.

• Sr EM-level leadership experience.

• Strong regulatory, compliance, and data privacy exposure.

• Experience in regulated environments.

• AI / ML platform exposure preferred.
