Job Title: Deputy General Manager - FP&A;

About The Role

The FP&A; Global will play a pivotal role in driving the global FP&A; agenda for GCPL, partnering with market CFOs, CEOs and business leaders across geographies to enable superior business performance and informed decision-making.

The role will own the global FP&A; operating rhythm across Annual Operating Plans, forecasts, long-range planning, management reporting and performance reviews, while driving standardisation and best practices across markets. The role will develop a deep understanding of individual market dynamics and translate market-level performance into actionable insights for Global Leadership.

The position will also lead the global FP&A; transformation agenda, leveraging Anaplan, automation, AI, advanced analytics and digital solutions to enhance planning accuracy, reporting efficiency and quality of decision support.





The role requires strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect financial performance with business drivers across diverse markets, identifying growth opportunities, profitability levers, risks and opportunities.

The DGM will act as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership and drive a culture of performance, accountability and continuous improvement across the global FP&A; organization.

Key Responsibilities

- P&L; and MIS Preparation and Automation
- Own the global FP&A; performance management agenda including Monthly, Quarterly and Annual MIS, consolidated P&L; reporting and performance dashboards across all GCPL markets, providing clear insights and recommendations to Global Leadership.
- Lead the global AOP, forecasting and planning process end-to-end, driving alignment across markets and challenging assumptions around growth, volume, pricing, gross margin, trade spends, marketing investments, costs and profitability.
- Lead the global FP&A; transformation and digitalisation agenda, driving adoption and effective utilization of Anaplan, BI, automation, AI and advanced analytics to improve planning, reporting, forecasting and decision-making capabilities across markets.
- Establish a consistent global FP&A; reporting framework across markets, defining common KPIs, reporting templates, review mechanisms and performance standards while ensuring appropriate flexibility for market-specific business dynamics.
- Own preparation and strategic direction of short-term forecast P&Ls; basis inputs from different teams and market scenarios, advising senior management on business implications.
- Oversee and prioritize ad-hoc data requests from senior management across countries, mentoring and guiding the FP&A; team in their delivery.
- Lead in-depth strategic analysis on long term trends, CAGRs, and profitability scenario simulations to shape business strategy and influence key decisions.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, embedding best-in-class financial processes and analytical rigor across the function; lead and mentor a team of Managers/Assistant Managers within FP&A.;

Who are we looking for

Education

- Cost & Management Accountant (ICWA/CMA)
- CA with 4-5 years of experience; MBA (Finance) from a premier institute is an added advantage

Experience

4-5 Years of experience in FP&A; or similar role, with prior experience of leading a team preferred

Proven ability to lead automation projects & Adhoc MIS reportings,



with demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a team. FMCG experience & Anaplan handling experience is a definite plus
