Role: Informatica Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Administrator with 8+ years of experience in administering and supporting Informatica environments. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Informatica IICS and PowerCenter, including installation, configuration, administration, security, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support across Development, QA, and Production environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, upgrade, configure, optimize, and administer Informatica PowerCenter and IICS environments.
- Manage Informatica platform components, security, connectivity, licensing, services, and Secure Agents.
- Perform administration activities across Development, QA, and Production environments.
- Monitor Informatica environments, identify issues proactively, and troubleshoot production incidents.
- Perform Informatica start/stop activities, Domain and Repository backup, recovery, and maintenance.
- Manage Informatica folders, permissions, users, roles, and security configurations.
- Handle code migration using Deployment Groups, Export/Import XML, and other Informatica deployment mechanisms.
- Manage object versions and source-code/version control using GitHub.
- Support performance tuning, job monitoring, metrics analysis, and production troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with System Administrators, Network Administrators, DBAs, and other technical teams for infrastructure and application changes.
- Work with Informatica technical support/vendor teams to troubleshoot product-related issues.
- Administer and support IICS/IDMC components, including:
- Cloud Data Integration (CDI)
- Cloud Data Quality (CDQ)




- Data Catalog
- Data Governance
- Change Data Capture (CDC)

- Provide hands-on support for IICS design and development activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and operational procedures.
- Follow security, compliance, SOX, and data governance requirements.
- Participate in Agile delivery processes and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
- Provide production support and participate in 24x7 on-call support when required.

Mandatory Skills
- 8+ years of Informatica experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IICS/IDMC
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter
- Informatica platform administration
- Installation, configuration, upgrade, and troubleshooting
- Informatica Domain and Repository administration
- Domain/Repository backup and recovery
- Informatica start/stop and setting management
- Code migration using Deployment Groups and Export/Import XML
- GitHub/version control
- Production support and performance troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of Informatica security and connectivity

Good to Have
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
- SQL knowledge
- Linux/Shell scripting
- PowerShell
- Python or Java
- Experience with Control-M or other enterprise schedulers
- Experience with SaaS, PaaS, and Cloud environments
- Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Catalog, CDQ, and CDC




- Experience working in onsite/offshore delivery models
- Agile methodology experience
