- Test Planning and Documentation: Assist in creating test plans and test cases based on software requirements and design documents
- Document test scenarios, test scripts, and procedures for both manual and automated testing
- Test Execution: Execute test cases to verify software functionality, usability, performance, and compatibility across different platforms
- Record and report defects, bugs, or issues found during testing using bug tracking tools
- Regression Testing and Maintenance: Perform regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested software still performs after changes or updates
- Collaborate with developers to verify bug fixes and ensure the resolution of reported issues
- Automated Testing (if applicable):Assist in developing and executing automated test scripts using testing frameworks or tools
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of automated test suites
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with software developers, business analysts,



and other team members to understand software requirements and resolve issues
- Communicate test results and progress updates to stakeholders and team members
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements in testing methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and continuous learning to enhance testing skills
- Skills and Qualifications: Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing principles
- Knowledge of testing methodologies (such as black-box, white-box, and regression testing)
- Familiarity with test management tools (eg :JIRA, TestRail) and bug tracking systems
- Experience with programming languages (depending on automation requirements) and testing frameworks is a plus
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
