We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Tekla Senior Precast Modeler in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Our client is a reputed organization in the Construction / Structural Engineering sector seeking skilled, motivated professionals. Key Responsibilities

- Create accurate 3D precast structural models using Tekla Structures.

- Prepare detailed production, erection, and hardware drawings aligned with project requirements.

- Generate material lists, piece information, and related fabrication data from Tekla models.

- Review drawings and models for constructability and production feasibility.

- Interpret structural and architectural drawings to develop accurate precast detailing solutions.

- Coordinate with project teams to identify and resolve design gaps and detailing discrepancies.

- Ensure models and drawings comply with established production methods and drawing standards.

- Perform quality checks to maintain drawing accuracy, consistency, and timely project delivery.

Required Skills

- Tekla Structures: Strong hands-on capability in creating and managing detailed precast structural models.

- Precast Modeling: Practical knowledge of precast components, connections, detailing,



and production requirements.

- Australian Steel Detailing: Minimum 2 years of experience working on Australian steel detailing projects.

- Drawing Interpretation: Strong ability to understand structural and architectural drawings and translate them into accurate models.

- 3D Visualization & Analysis: High-level spatial visualization and analytical skills for identifying modeling and constructability issues.

Preferred Skills

- Experience preparing production, erection, and hardware drawings.

- Knowledge of material lists, piece information, and fabrication documentation.

- Robust quality-control and delivery discipline in structural detailing environments.

Work Experience Requirements

The role requires 3–8+ years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years of Tekla Precast modeling experience. Candidates must also have at least 2 years of experience on Australian steel detailing projects and should be comfortable working with production-oriented structural models and drawings.

Education

Minimum: Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering (typical for this role)
Preferred: Relevant Tekla Structures training/certification (typical)
Additional: Precast/structural detailing certification (typical)
