Job Description

- Handle hands-on mechanical maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment.
- Attend breakdown maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize machine downtime.
- Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities as per schedule and maintain maintenance checklists.
- Monitor machine availability, MTTR, MTBF and downtime and take corrective actions.
- Ensure availability of critical maintenance spares and monitor spare inventory.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase and external vendors/subcontractors for timely availability of spares and specialized repairs.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for repeated breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Support TPM, continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate with Production for operator-driven maintenance and machine improvement activities.
- Supervise and allocate work to blue-collar associates, mechanics, fitters and contract technicians.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, maintenance SOPs and company procedures.
