Responsibilities
On-Time Shipment Clearance:
Ensure timely custom clearance of imported shipments to facilitate prompt delivery to the plant. Coordinate with relevant parties to minimize delays.
Minimize Detention, Interest, and Penalty Charges for Import Shipment:
Achieve customs clearance without incurring detention charges by optimizing processes and adhering to timelines, thus avoiding additional costs.
Vendor Payment:
Oversee timely payments to suppliers to maintain good relationships and ensure the smooth flow of materials. Monitor payment cycles to prevent disruptions.
Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to customs regulations and compliance requirements. Regularly audit processes to prevent non-compliance and its associated risks.
Availing Duty Benefits:
Maximize utilization of available duty benefit schemes, including Advance License, EPCG, and IGCR. Ensure proper documentation and compliance to leverage these benefits effectively.
Innovation:
Integrating advanced technologies, such as automation and AI, to streamline customs clearance processes, enhance logistics operations, and improve efficiency across the supply chain.
Digitalization/Data-Driven Decision Making:
Driving the adoption of digital tools like customs management systems, shipment tracking platforms, and predictive analytics to optimize logistics workflows and make informed,
datad-riven decisions.
Organizational & Culture Building:
Fostering a culture of compliance, efficiency, and collaboration by empowering teams with the
knowledge and tools to align with customs regulations and company logistics goals.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a
related field.
Work Experience (Range of years):
8-12 years of experience in import logistics, including experience in managing import
processes and teams, with robust knowledge of customs regulations.
