Senior Specialist – Workplace Services

You will oversee security programs, facility operations, compliance activities, and emergency response efforts while partnering with business leaders and site teams to maintain a safe, efficient, and employee-focused workplace. About the Role

- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard employees, assets, and facilities.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and risk reviews to identify vulnerabilities and drive corrective actions.
- Lead, supervise, and train security personnel to ensure adherence to established protocols and service standards.
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and workplace concerns, conducting investigations and documenting findings.
- Prepare and maintain security reports, compliance records, incident documentation, and operational dashboards.
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient workplace environment.
- Manage facilities and security operations across multiple locations while maintaining consistent service delivery standards.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, and site teams to support operational and workplace requirements.
- Conduct regular internal audits, physical verifications, and compliance checks to validate the implementation of systems and processes.
- Monitor and improve workplace safety, security controls, and facility management practices.
- Provide administrative and operational support as required to meet business needs and organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace standards, and regulatory requirements.




- Support emergency preparedness planning and coordinate effective responses to unforeseen situations.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Manager or Business Unit stakeholders.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, Operations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in security management, facilities management, workplace operations, or a related function.
- Experience managing security operations, facility services, and workplace administration across one or more sites.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, incident management, emergency response, and risk mitigation practices.
- Proven ability to conduct audits, assessments, compliance reviews, and operational inspections.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
- Robust organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports and present recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and workplace management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing multi-site security and facilities operations in a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards, emergency preparedness programs, and compliance requirements.
- Experience leading security teams, contract staff, or vendor-managed services.
- Familiarity with access control systems, surveillance technologies, and facility management platforms.




- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify operational improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations.
- Certification in Security Management, Facilities Management, Health & Safety, or related disciplines is an advantage.
