Job Description ● Performance Ratio (PR) Tracking: Monitor and analyze the PR and Capacity Utilization
n Factor (CUF) for MW-scale plants, ensuring they meet contractual obligations.
n ● Deep Data Analytics: Use Python, R, or advanced MS Excel/Google Sheets to analyze large
n datasets from SCADA systems to identify degradation trends or equipment underperformance
n ● Lost Energy Attribution: Calculate energy losses specifically due to grid downtime, clipping,
n soiling, and thermal effects to provide a explicit "Actual vs. Theoretical" generation gap analysis.
n ● Forecasting & Modeling: Use PVSyst or Meteonorm data to create generation forecasts and
n compare real-time data against weather-adjusted benchmarks.
n ● Soiling Analysis: Analyze soiling losses to optimize cleaning cycles for MW-scale sites,
n balancing cost vs. generation gain.
n ● Reporting: Prepare high-level technical reports for stakeholders, highlighting monthly
n generation health and proposing corrective actions for system-level inefficiencies.
n Qualifications and Skills
n ● Education:



B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or Renewable Energy.
n ● Experience: Minimum 7 years, specifically in solar data analytics or performance engineering
n for MW-scale plants.
n ● Software Proficiency: Expert level in MS Excel and SCADA systems. Proficiency in PVSyst
n and data visualization tools (like Power BI or Tableau) is preferred.
n ● Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of PV system, inverter efficiency curves, and
n different losses.
n ● Analytical Mindset: Ability to diagnose complex issues like PID (Potential Induced
n Degradation) or string-level mismatch from remote data.
