- Develop and maintain the architecture for OT systems across various platforms and locations.
- Analyse business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Design end-to-end solutions that optimize pharmaceutical operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality control, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure OT systems comply with industry standards, Cybersecurity best practices and infrastructure scalability
System Integration
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate OT and IT systems, facilitating data exchange and process optimization.
- Integrate existing and new systems, such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms, SCADA & DCS.
- Optimize data flow, process automation, and real-time monitoring.
Technology Evaluation & Support
- Assess recent OT technologies and tools to improve operational efficiency
- Stay informed about emerging technologies relevant to the pharmaceutical sector.
- Evaluate tools, frameworks, and cloud solutions for their applicability.
- Propose changes and enhancements to existing systems & support.
- Maintain upto date support contracts with OEM/Partners
- Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams regarding OT technologies.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for OT systems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, GxP, EMA).
- Implement robust data security measures.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to validate system functionality.
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate technical solutions effectively to stakeholders, including senior management, operations teams, and IT professionals.
- Provide guidance on system architecture, scalability, and performance.
