Job Description: A Senior Electrician in chains manufacturing installs, repairs, and maintains high-intensity production machinery. The role is crucial for minimizing downtime by troubleshooting electrical faults, overseeing preventive maintenance on motors, PLCs, and high-voltage systems, and supervising junior technicians. - Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical breakdowns (control panels, AC/DC drives, and sensors) specific to chain-making machinery. [1, 2]
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct daily and periodic inspections of earthings, motors, transformers, and 33kV substations to prevent production bottlenecks. [1, 2]
- Plant Equipment Upkeep: Handle routine electrical repairs on auxiliary production equipment, such as EOT cranes, welding units, and grinding machines. [1, 2]
- Safety Compliance:



Ensure strict adherence to high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures. [1, 2]
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor junior electricians and helpers. [1]

Required Qualifications

- Education: ITI, Diploma, or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Typically 4+ years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in automated manufacturing or auto-ancillary plants.
