Job Description: A Mechanical Head in coal mining is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all mechanical aspects of a mine, including maintenance, repair, and safety. This role requires extensive knowledge of mining equipment, safety regulations, and project management. Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership: Oversee and manage a team of mechanical engineers, technicians, and other personnel.
- Maintenance and Repair: Plan, execute, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all mining equipment.
- Safety: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures related to mechanical operations.
- Project Management: Manage projects related to equipment upgrades, recent installations, and capital improvements.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for mechanical operations and projects.
- Problem Solving:



Identify and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to mining operations.
- Performance Improvement: Implement strategies to improve equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance overall mining efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Extensive experience in mining, specifically in mechanical maintenance, repair, and project management.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of mining equipment, safety regulations, and project management principles.
