Recruiters also manage candidate communication, negotiate offers, and ensure a positive candidate experience. Key responsibilities
- Strategy and planning: Develop and implement recruitment strategies, collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, and stay updated on hiring trends.
- Sourcing and attracting talent: Write and post job descriptions, source candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networks, and build talent pipelines.
- Screening and interviewing: Review resumes, screen applications, and conduct interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the role.
- Process management:
Schedule interviews, manage candidate records in an applicant tracking system (ATS), and coordinate with hiring managers.
- Offer and onboarding: Negotiate job offers and compensation packages, and assist with the onboarding of recent hires.
- Candidate experience: Ensure a positive experience for all candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Relationship building: Foster relationships with past applicants and potential candidates for future openings.
