Job Description: Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies for the plant, aligning with the overall company goals.
- Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring effective and safe production.
- Quality Control: Maintain and improve product quality, ensuring it meets customer requirements and industry standards.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost-reduction measures.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a large team of plant employees, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
- Safety Management: Ensure a safe and healthy workplace, implementing and enforcing safety protocols.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including vendors, customers, and government agencies.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on plant performance and operations.
- Problem Solving:



Identify and resolve production problems and other issues that may arise.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Extensive experience in steelmaking, rolling, and integrated steel plant operations, typically 25-30 years.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of steel plant processes, including electric arc furnaces, DRI, pellet plants, and downstream processing.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams, manage complex projects, and make strategic decisions.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders. JOB APPLY
