- 5+years of database administration/Support/Maintenance expertise in MySQL / MariaDB
- Passion for serving customers and solving technical problems
- Expert knowledge of MySQL/ MariaDB server and related tools
- Solid knowledge of MySQL replication, clustering, and performance tuning.
- Experience with database monitoring tools (e.g., Percona, MySQL Enterprise Monitor).
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
- Experience in a 24*7 support Environment
- Strong knowledge on SQL and query optimization
- Strong knowledge on database design, administration, and architecture
- Strong experience in Replication, Point in time recovery (PITR), Security Measures and error log
- Good troubleshooting experience on slow query
- Experience in optimizing MySQL performance
- Experience in CPU usage caused by MySQL processes

Responsibilities:

- Install, configure,



and maintain MySQL database servers and clusters.
- Monitor database performance, optimize queries, and implement indexing strategies.
- Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Ensure high availability, replication, and failover mechanisms for MySQL databases.
- Manage user access control, security policies, and data encryption.
- Troubleshoot database issues, resolve performance bottlenecks, and fine-tune configurations.
- Work closely with developers to optimize database schema and queries.
- Implement and manage MySQL replication (Master-Slave, Master-Master, or Group Replication).
- Perform capacity planning and storage management.
- Maintain documentation for database configurations, policies, and procedures.
