Job Title: I&C; Engineer

JOB SUMMARY The purpose of the Installation and Commissioning Engineer (ICE) role is to positively contribute to the project results through successful coordinated management and execution of multiple tasks in alignment with Installation and Commissioning (I&C;) function objectives, priorities and methods.

The job holder operates with a high level of autonomy, and collaborates with peers and superiors to operationalize goals and priorities in line with the strategic direction for the project. He / she has day to day accountability for the successful delivery of the tasks for which he / she is owner, in order to achieve time, quality and cost targets, within financial, contractual and health and safety parameters.

Extensive travel within APAC with some travel to other regions (EMEA) for site Installation / commissioning work. Each project delivered by SPX Flow is led by a Project Manager supported by a project team.

The job holder may be assigned to specific projects, in this project team as: · Site Manager (SM)

· Installation Supervisor (IS)

· Commissioning Team Leader (CTL)

· Process Commissioning Engineer (PCE) Specific assignments depend on:

· The job holder skills set

· The size and complexity of the project The job holder is usually assigned when site operations start, if taking a role of IS or SM. He / she is assigned when installation is completed if taking a role of CTL or PCE. The following chart describes a typical project team organization, the possible positions (green boxes) of an I&C; engineer, his / her role (red text)



and the related reporting lines (green lines).

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The job holder complies with SPX Flow project execution processes, methods and tools. He / she is accountable for achieving operational effectiveness within agreed time frame. In his / her role, he / she demonstrates a culture of innovation, high performance, accountability and continuous improvement, aligning efforts in the short and long term to the PM’s strategic goals.

As Process Commissioning Engineer, he / she is responsible for:

· Installation Qualification (I/Q)

· Operational Qualification support (O/Q)

· Documentation management (including updating) for his / her areas

· Performance Qualification support (P/Q)

· Customer training The Process Commissioning Engineer attends any meeting on the Commissioning Team Leader demand. He / she proceeds with weekly commissioning reviews and sends a weekly report to the Commissioning Team Leader. He / she is responsible for providing him / her with his / her final commissioning report before leaving site. The final commissioning report must include:

· IQ report

· Exhaustive records of instrumentation and frequency convertors settings

· Exhaustive records of results (flow,



temperature, pressures, runtimes, …) obtained compared to the contractual or specified ones The Process Commissioning Engineer is owner of the following process. Full completion of each of the tasks is his / her scope of supply. He / her can be supported by specialists but must ideally be able to handle each of these tasks without any external support.

He / she must therefore demonstrate related knowledge and even skills. Mistakes and failures fixing are included. Formalization of the results is his / her deliverables.

- Installation takeover from the Installation Supervisor including quick checks
- Mechanical IQ (Installation qualification) a. Documentation checks b. P&ID; (and 3Ds) compliance c. Item list compliance d. Corrections
- Electrical IQ (support) a. Documentation checks b. Energizing (MCC, Control cabinet) c. Electrical diagram compliance d. Instrumentation, measuring chains, regulation loops configuration e. I/O tests including troubleshooting and corrections
- Utilities activation, purge and performances checks
- Water cleansing / Flushing: Water flush the system piping and Check for leaks
- Manual and semi-automatic startup a. Physical performances checks b. Regulation loops (PID) parameters adjustment c. Functional capacity checks
- Functional qualification (OQ) a. Cleaning in place (CIP) b. Main functions automatic tests on water c. Alarms and Interlocks checks d. Operators training
- First productions a. Parameters adjustments on product b. Production assistance
