Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IBM DataPower Developer with robust hands-on experience in DataPower XI52 and XG45 Gateway appliances. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and securing integration solutions, with a focus on API security, XML threat protection, and high-performance gateway services.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Development

- Develop and configure services on IBM DataPower XI52 and XG45
- Build and manage Multi-Protocol Gateways (MPGW), Web Service Proxies (WSP), and XML Firewalls (XFW)
- Create REST and SOAP web services with protocol mediation and transformation

Security & Threat Protection

- Implement advanced security features including XML/JSON schema validation, payload inspection, and threat protection
- Configure AAA policies (LDAP, OAuth 2.0, SAML) for secure authentication and authorization
- Manage SSL/TLS configurations, digital certificates, keys, and cryptographic profiles

Integration & Transformation





- Develop complex transformations using XSLT, XSD, WSDL, XPath, and JSON/XML conversions
- Integrate DataPower with back-end systems such as IBM MQ, IIB/ACE, or other ESBs
- Configure routing, load balancing, and policy enforcement mechanisms

Support & Troubleshooting

- Monitor system logs and appliance health to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Optimize gateway performance and ensure high availability
- Provide Level 2/3 support for production systems and participate in on-call rotations as required

Collaboration & Documentation

- Collaborate with architects, application teams, security engineers, and external partners
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of all configurations, policies, and deployment standards
- Participate in code/configuration reviews, design discussions, and security audits
