Key Accountabilities

- Responsible and accountable to maintain supply chain of the plant and its operation activities. Must have experience in buying forging, casting & exact machined parts.
- Responsible for Vendor Development, Ensure quality standard, Price Negotiation, Vendor Up gradation, Costing of Materials, etc. Interaction with Plant & Operation for Material Supply.
- To ensure that a business has a constant supply of materials or equipment. They work primarily in an administrative capacity, doing tasks such as scheduling material purchases and deliveries and verifying current inventory.
- Floating enquiries, follow-up with Vendors & receipt of offers, preparation of Price Comparative Statement and MOMs. Preparing the estimate, Preparation of Orders for procurement of Goods & Services.
- Preparation of estimates, invitation of bids, commercial evaluation, conducting pre-award meetings, Sub-contracting, Assisting for Post Award Activities including Contract Amendments (if any), Award of Contract within the allocated budget., Knowledge of Conditions of Contract.

Post Award





Activities – Preparation of Change Order Proposal including Qty./ Rate variation, Extra items, Time Extensions, Contract Closure.

- Preparation of internal documents for approval like NFAs, Change Order Proposal, etc, Tracking Purchase spend, cost savings, OTD, PR/PO analysis, Vendor Payments Preparation of Orders for procurement of Goods & Services.

Representing Cross Functional

Team and co-ordination, Preparation of internal documents for approval. Approval of billing break-up. Statutory compliances (Taxation, EOU, DTA, etc) Dealing with Bank guarantees, Indemnity Bonds, and advance payments. Database of Vendors for all types of Capital Goods & Services. Departmental MIS. Co-ordination with Project Managers for operational issues.

- Maintain Inventory report and set strategy for availability of the material on time as per SOPs set by organization.

Determine

Quality, quantity and timely delivery of materials. Awareness of Government & regulatory updated policies and guidelines.
