We are seeking an experienced and skilled General and Laparoscopic Surgeon to join our surgical team. The role involves managing a wide range of general surgical conditions and performing both open and minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and manage general surgical conditions, both elective and emergency
- Perform open and laparoscopic surgeries including but not limited to:
- Hernia (inguinal, umbilical, incisional)
- Cholecystectomy
- Appendectomy
- GI surgeries
- Participate in patient consultations, evaluations, and surgical planning
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, physicians, and hospital staff for perioperative care
- Manage post-operative patient recovery and follow-up
- Maintain accurate surgical records, informed consent, and patient communication
- Attend surgical rounds, departmental meetings,



and contribute to surgical protocols
- Instruct junior doctors or surgical residents (if part of a teaching hospital)

Key Requirements:

- MBBS with MS/DNB in General Surgery
- Valid MCI or State Medical Council Registration
- Proven experience in independent laparoscopic surgery
- Solid clinical and surgical judgment
- Effective patient communication and counseling skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience with advanced laparoscopic procedures (e.g., colectomy, fundoplication)
- Exposure to trauma/emergency surgeries
- Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals
