Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer to join our growing cloud infrastructure team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing large-scale, secure, and scalable cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have robust technical expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices, along with the ability to collaborate with various technology groups and act as a cloud advocate across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment tools.
- Perform cloud architecture design, systems engineering, and infrastructure automation for AWS environments.
- Implement and automate IaaS and PaaS services, ensuring best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide cloud strategy, including governance, identity management, and operational controls.
- Create infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to enable DevOps adoption and optimize internal processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud migrations, cost optimization, and architectural enhancements.
- Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and proactively improving system resilience.
- Lead CI/CD pipeline enhancements for faster, safer, and more predictable software delivery.
- Continuously research and recommend new technologies to enhance infrastructure and delivery processes.
- Host internal meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions, acting as a cloud ambassador within the organization.




- Ensure full compliance with AWS security practices and regulatory requirements through robust monitoring and governance.

Technical Requirements

- Proven experience in architecting and deploying large-scale AWS hybrid environments
- Deep knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch, and EKS
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, AWS CodePipeline, Nexus, Artifactory
- Proficiency with automation and configuration tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals: VPNs, DNS, subnets, NAT, route tables, ALB/NLB, GSLB
- Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and monitoring best practices
- Hands-on experience with container platforms: Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Docker, Fargate
- Experience with monitoring/alerting tools: Grafana, Zabbix, CloudWatch, Site24x7, Sumologic, PagerDuty, Nagios
- High proficiency in Linux administration
- Strong scripting skills: Bash, Python, Ruby
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and infrastructure provisioning for Dev, Test, and Prod environments
- Experience with Kubernetes namespaces, service discovery, and DNS integrations

Educational Qualifications
