- Assist in configuration, monitoring, and daily operations of Druva and Commvault backup environments.
- Learn and support daily backup job status checks, failure analysis, and job reruns.
- Help maintain backup schedules and retention policies under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in backup and restore testing activities.
- Document procedures, configurations, and routine tasks as per standard operating practices.
- Coordinate with the L2/L3 teams for issue escalation and resolution.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Basic understanding of backup concepts, data retention, and recovery processes.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, ports, etc.).
- Eagerness to learn enterprise backup tools like Druva and Commvault.
- Must have own conveyance and be open to travel to client locations if required.
- Good documentation skills using MS Office or equivalent tools.
