Responsible for the implementation of the National Civil Aviation Security Training Programme and providing advice and support to the Head-ASTI and Head-GMRAA. Coordination with the Regulatory Authority and supervision of ASTI's current and future activities. Ensure high standards and 100% compliance in ASTI at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct AVSEC training, including BCAS-sponsored training.
- Deliver appropriate AVSEC Trainings and subsequent Refresher trainings that comply with Aviation Security Officer Accreditation requirements.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring for the Training Support Team members using various strategies and tactics to promote learning transfer to the job before, during, and after these interventions.
- Build and maintain professional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support the provision of AVSEC training.
- Deliver a range of AVSEC Trainings and high-end customized training solutions using various approaches to meet business needs.
- Monitor CBT Administration of AVSEC.
- Conduct pre-test and post-test evaluations, collect post-course feedback, and prepare comprehensive reports to submit to the Head-ASTI.
- Maintain appropriate records of training programmes attended by all personnel (in-house or outside) on aviation security, including AVSEC induction programmes, specialized training programmes, recurrent/refresher training programmes, security awareness programmes, on-the-job training programmes, certification, and recertification programmes. These records should be readily available for inspection by the appropriate authority.
Education Qualifications
- Graduate with valuable communication skills.
- AVSEC BASIC COURSE Certification by BCAS.
- AVSEC INSTRUCTOR COURSE certification by BCAS.
- Must possess Subject Matter Expertise (SMEs) covering all aspects and parameters of Aviation Security.
- AVSEC AUDITOR COURSE certification by BCAS.
- Computer-Based Training (CBT) Administrator.
Relevant Experience
- 9-10 years of experience, including at least 4 years as an AVSEC Instructor.
