We are seeking a skilled and proactive Engineering Graduate with experience in designing and engineering for steel strip processing lines. The ideal candidate will be proficient in thermal calculations and 3D modeling, with the ability to lead a team of draughtsmen and ensure the highest quality of engineering deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Profile:
- Lead a group of draughtsmen to plan and complete engineering activities on time.
- Experience in Design and Engineering in the field of Steel Strip processing lines like CGL, CCL, ARP, ECL, Furnaces, Ovens, etc.
- Fluency in thermal calculation and thermal design of equipment.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and 3D modeling.

- Control a group of draughtsmen.
- Check drawings and Bills of Material (BOMs), ensuring the correctness of prepared documents.
- Prepare Drawings and BOMs.
- Prepare models using 3D software like AutoDesk Inventor.
- Generate P&ID; (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and Data Sheets as required.
- Perform Design calculations.
- Select bought-out components.
- Coordinate with other departments.
- Communicate with customers and participate in technical discussions.
- Coordinate with manufacturing for discrepancies and deviations.
- Coordinate with Erection and Commissioning for site support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- First Class Engineering Graduate in Mechanical / Industrial / Production from a reputed university.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of design of Terminal equipment, Furnaces, Ovens, thermal equipment, or rolling mills.
- Must have thorough experience in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor / SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of Ansys / FEA will be an added advantage.
- Possess valuable communication skills.
Competencies:
- Thorough knowledge of drawings.
- Good knowledge of process equipment related to Mechanical / thermal systems.
- Process knowledge of Strip processing lines, galvanizing, Pickling & ARP will be preferred.
