Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Visakhapatnam, Jharkhand, Chattishgarh

Experience Required: -
M.Com / MBA (Finance) / M.Sc. (Mathematics) with 6+ years of relevant hands-on experience in accounting OR

CA Intermediate / candidates who have pursued CA but have not completed the qualification, with 4+ years of relevant hands-on accounting experience.

Hands-on experience with Zoho Books/Zoho Finance is preferred.

Probation Period:

The selected candidate will be placed on a 3-6 months probation period. Upon successful completion of the probation period and satisfactory performance, the candidate will be confirmed in the permanent role.

Role Overview: Responsible for managing accounting operations, invoice processing, taxation, reconciliations, financial reporting and statutory compliance while ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts.
Handle sales/purchase invoices, billing, receipts,



payments and journal entries.
Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank and ledger reconciliations.
Handle GST, TDS, taxation and statutory compliance activities.
Prepare and review Trial Balance, P&L;, Balance Sheet and MIS reports.
Manage monthly, quarterly and year-end closing of accounts.
Monitor receivables, payables, cash flow and outstanding balances.
Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks and statutory authorities for accounting, tax and audit matters.
Review accounting entries, invoices, vouchers and supporting documents for accuracy.
Maintain proper records of fixed assets, depreciation and accounting schedules.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and internal controls.
Maintain accounting records using MS Excel/Zoho Books and provide timely financial reports to management.

Qualification: M.Com / MBA (Finance) / M.Sc. (Mathematics) / CA Intermediate or equivalent
